late 18th century jessamine paste brooch / pendant. From the single paste centre each of the six oval petals are pavé-set with calibre-cut colourless paste in foiled and closed back settings. Jessamine referred to a type of jasmine flower. This jessamine measures one inch by one inch and is bright and immaculate.
