19th century charming tortoise pin with 22mm x 16.5mm pearl shell surrounded by vibrant old cut demantoid green garnets (0.82cts). Rose cut diamonds set into the head, feet and tail (0.43cts) and cabochon ruby eyes. Notice fine detail to feet and engraved under belly. All set in 18ct yellow gold. 39mm x 21mm. English circa 1880.
